Used cooking oil collection for caterers and food producers
Production kitchens and event caterers generate oil in bulk and in bursts. IBCs up to 1,000 litres, collections planned around production runs, and paperwork that stands up to an audit.
Central production kitchens, event caterers and small food manufacturers have a different shape of problem again: the volume is large, it arrives in concentrated bursts around production runs or events, and the business is far more likely to be audited by a customer than a high street kitchen is. What is needed is capacity, scheduling that follows the production calendar, and records that survive scrutiny.
What makes caterers and food producers different
Bulk capacity
IBCs of up to 1,000 litres, supplied on request once we have seen the site, since an IBC needs level standing and clear access for the pump.
Production runs, not calendar weeks
Collections planned around when you actually produce. Tell us the run schedule and we work to it rather than to a fixed weekly slot that misses the peak.
Records that survive an audit
Every collection is documented with date, volume and carrier details, retrievable at any time. If a customer audits your waste chain, the evidence is already in one place.
Typical volume
Highly variable. Production kitchens commonly run 200 to 800 litres a week during a run, with quiet periods in between.

What caterers and food producers ask most
Do you provide drums or containers?
Yes, free of charge and sized to your kitchen: 25 litre and 60 litre sealed drums, 240 litre wheelie bins for high-volume fryers, and IBCs of up to 1,000 litres for food producers. The 25 litre drum suits cafes and smaller kitchens, and we pay per litre on it just the same. We swap every container for a clean empty at each collection, so there are no leaks, no smells and nothing for your team to clean.
Are you licensed?
Yes. London Oil Collection Ltd (company number 17353811) holds an Environment Agency Upper Tier Waste Carrier licence, registration CBDU649455, as a Carrier and Dealer. You can verify it on the Environment Agency public register.
What happens to the oil?
Your used cooking oil is recycled into biofuel, which produces up to around 88% less CO2 than fossil diesel. Nothing goes to landfill or down the drain.
