Used cooking oil collection for pubs
Pub kitchens swing hard between a quiet Tuesday and a bank holiday weekend. Flexible frequency, extra pickups on demand, and no charge for the weeks you barely fry at all.
A pub kitchen is rarely steady. Sunday lunch, a match day, a beer garden in July and a dead fortnight in February can all happen in the same quarter, and a collection schedule built around an average serves none of them. The other complication is access: cellars, side alleys and delivery bays that a driver needs to know about before they arrive rather than after.
What makes pubs different
Trade that swings by the week
Move between weekly and fortnightly whenever you like, pause over a closure, and add a one-off pickup when a bank holiday fills you early. None of it costs anything.
Awkward access
Cellar steps, a side alley, a shared bin store or a delivery bay with restricted hours. Tell us once when you book and it is planned into the round rather than discovered on the day.
Paperwork the group will ask for
If you are tied or part of a group, the waste documentation gets requested eventually. It is in your online account, dated, with litres, ready to forward.
Typical volume
A food-led pub usually fills a 60 litre drum weekly or fortnightly. Garden season and match days can double it for a few weeks.
Not sure where you sit? Pick "Not sure" on the form and we will size it up on the first visit.
What pubs ask most
Is collection really free?
Completely free. There is no charge for collection, no charge for the sealed drums we supply, and no contract tying you in. Some waste companies charge for every oil pickup; with us it works the other way round, because we pay you for the oil we collect.
Can you collect before my fixed day?
Yes. Your fixed day is there so you always know when we are coming, but it never locks you in. If a busy week fills your drums early, call or WhatsApp us and we will book an extra pickup before your usual day, often the same day if you reach us before noon.
What paperwork do I get and how do I access it?
Every collection generates a digital waste transfer note, stored in your secure online account. Log in at any time to download waste transfer notes and view your full collection history, with dates and litres collected. When an EHO or council inspector asks for your waste documentation, it is all there in seconds.
